Style wise 2020 has to go down as the year of the dress. Easy to wear, comfortable and effortlessly chic they have made getting dressed in the morning a whole lot easier!

The Midi Dress

Midi dresses have been so on trend recently and they get an Autumn update with new colours and prints. I love this gorgeous polka dot dress with its pop of blue and camel and it’s pretty sunray pleated skirt. Sheer sleeves and a gentle V neck are flattering whilst a nipped in waist shows off your curves.
TIP: Dress up with mules and a leather jacket for a night out or team with nude ballerinas for daytime style. Wear with your favourite boots once the colder weather creeps in.

The Printed Dress

In this seasons most on trend colour – burnt orange- and a bold abstract print this button through midi dress will make you stand out for all the right reasons! A fluid fabric means this dress skims your shape without clinging and the tie waist shows off your curves. Shirt dresses are great if you have bigger boobs as the soft V shape elongates the neck. This dress is perfect for a special occasion if you team it with heels and a neat tailored jacket.
Tip: Avoid high necklines if you are busty.

The Tencel Dress

Soft and easy to wear this Tencel shirt dress in a flattering shade of capuccino is a wardrobe winner. Great if you have a curvy figure as the adjustable tie belt means this dress works on a size 10 or 28 as it will emphasise your waist. If you have a thicker middle try substituting a wider leather belt and wear on your hips. Just blouson a little fabric over and all flaws are hidden! I’ve styled the dress with tan knee high boots but it would look equally as good with animal print loafers or white trainers.
TIP: This dress is the perfect canvas for a pop of colour. Think primaries such as mustard, red or cobalt and look for statement jewellery and accessories.

The Shirt Dress

Fun and lightweight this soft brushed cotton dress is a dream to wear! Easy to throw on for a weekend dog walk with a pair of wellies and a cardi it will also take you stylishly to lunch with friends – just team with heeled ankle boots and a leather biker jacket. As the months turn cooler try styling this dress open over a polo neck and jeans with a pair of boots – the ideal way to get extra style miles from your wardrobe this season.
Tip: If you are petite shorter styles are more flattering. Maxi dresses will just drown you!

The Polka Dot Dress

Silky and floaty with a touch of Boho styling this dress really ticks all the boxes. A gentle V neck is good for big boobs, a three quarter sleeve solves any upper arm dilemmas and a gently elasticated waist gives you shape. I’ve gone with the gypsy look and teamed it with slouchy suede boots – but it would work with white pumps or strappy heels depending on the occasion.
Tip: Team with a roll neck for that cool layered look.
