Bonfire night cosy styles

Be bold and cosy on Bonfire night.

With toffee apples, wellies and spectacular bursts of sparkles lighting up the night sky, Bonfire night is full of fun. We’ve picked out a few organised displays to head off to, that aren’t just for little ones. Plus we have some super tips on how to layer up and be cosy and stylish on this chilly night.

Layers to love

Short sleeved thermal t-shirt

When preparing for a cold spell, we’d always start with a cosy Thermolactyl base to keep the heat in. Our pretty lace neck, short sleeved thermal T-shirt is a great choice. In black or white it’s perfect to slip under all your other layers.

Long sleeved thermal t-shirt

For extra heat, we love the long sleeved thermal T-shirt. Again with a lovely lace trim round the V-neck and seamless for comfort, it’s perfect under cardigans or jumpers. Choose from four versatile colours.

Live music and lights

Talking of evenings, if you’re looking for a great Fireworks Night that’s just as much fun for grown ups, how about Alexandra Palace? Named the ‘Glastonbury of Fireworks’, on the 3rd and 4th of November, you can expect live music, the UK’s largest German Bier Festival and an ice rink to glide around. There’s also spectacular lighting shows from Lords of Lightning and of course, the legendary firework display to dazzle the crowds and light up the London skyline.

Glittering glam jumpers

Sequin detail jumper

These super soft, sequined jumpers are just the thing to dazzle on Bonfire Night. Like the rockets themselves, they have amazing bursts of sparkles. Choose from a jumper with an explosion of sequins at the shoulder, in a warm wool mix, that’s as toasty as it looks. While our beautiful royal blue sweater studded with glittering starbursts is a brilliant pick. Both are easy to care for and make great companions for a day to evening look.

Wimbledon fireworks hit the right notes

There’s nothing quite like a choreographed musical fireworks display. The shows at Wimbledon Park on Saturday 4th November are quite something. Enjoy delicious street food and fun fairs thrown into the mix. With a show for younger children and families and a later show for older groups, it has everything you need for a top night.

You can’t beat a hoodie for a cosy touch. This stunning cable knit has style written all over it and it’s Thermolacty fibres will be oh-so warm. Choose from teal or Lava Falls colours and pop with jeans and boots to be all set for the coolest night.

Jacquard sweatshirt

You can’t go wrong with our fabulously warm Jacquard Sweatshirt. To elevate the everyday to something a little bit special. If your Bonfire night’s turning into an unplanned get together, you can count on this top with its metallic sparkle waistband to pull style out of the bag.

Beautiful Battersea Fireworks

If you love sensational fireworks and a warming bonfire, Battersea Park is a good bet. Tuck into winter warming food, zesty mulled wine and the kids will love the glow in the dark face paint. And maybe the grown ups will too! Choose from a ‘classic’ Saturday night or a family orientated Sunday night.

Don’t forget amazing accessories

Thermal hat and gloves with faux fur trim gloves

You just can’t go to a Bonfire without being totally wrapped up from head to toe. We love the co-ordinating Thermal Hat and Scarf. In a fabulous Fairisle inspired design of the loveliest red. Pop with the most stylish faux fur trim gloves in a Pepper Red shade for a finishing touch.

Sequin detail scarf with bobble hat and leather look gloves

Or, how about a cosy bobble hat?  In on-trend beige and it goes so well with our cream wool mix scarf studded with sequin bursts. Which co-ordinates well with the sequin jumper. And don’t forget your gloves! We love these hardy leather look gloves with cosy knitted cuffs in gun metal grey. Spot on we hear you cry! We have to agree.
