Help us to beat Breast Cancer!

Breast cancer is the most common cancer in the UK, claiming almost 1,000 lives every month. But thanks to research more people are surviving breast cancer than ever before. 80% of women are able to enjoy full lives five years after diagnosis.

At Damart, October is all about the colour pink in support of Breast Cancer Awareness Month! We work alongside the UK’s largest breast cancer charity, Breast Cancer Now. Every year we feature our Thermolactyl pink vest donating £4 from every top sold going towards Breast Cancer Now to help continue their life saving research.

Our pink vests are made from Thermolactyl technology, which normally people may think is just for wearing underneath your outfits but it is such a versatile piece that they can be used as light layers and are great staple for your wardrobe. Show your support by purchasing one today!

Last year, for the first time, Damart decided to move away from celebrity models and teamed up with breast cancer support group, Bosom Friends, to model the vest. Building on the huge success of that campaign, we were delighted to team up with the brave women at Bosom Friends again this year. This year’s campaign features a two friends, two cousins and a mother and daughter, all of whom are battling breast cancer. The support they have for each other was our focus, with the inspirational story behind each pair forming the heart of the campaign.

The day-long shoot took place in Manchester, with the women having a professional make-over and modelling both short sleeved and sleeveless Pink Vests. Pictures were in both pairs and group settings.. The campaign also included a video capturing both behind-the-scenes footage and interviews about their personal experience and the support they received.

Damart has supported Breast Cancer Now (formerly Breast Cancer Campaign) for 15 years and we’re very proud to have raised more than £200,000 for the charity. We hope you’ll want to help and buy a pink vest today. For more information about this cause head over to Breast Cancer Now or the Damart Website!
