The last Bank Holiday of the summer is on its way so let’s enjoy it to the full. We’ve put together a list of places to maximise the fun without maxing out your bank cards. Malton Food Lovers Festival
One of life’s great pleasures is a plateful of fabulous food. Check out Malton’s Food Lover’s Festival, with its charming streets bursting with street food, artisan stalls, demos, book signings and art sculptures. Celebrating Yorkshire’s finest produce and cooking in amongst live music and festival bars. And it’s free to enjoy. Just pay to park and its free to ride in and enjoy the fun.
The pretty Striped Dress is one of our cute summer dresses. Its soft jersey fabric with a knot at the front is just right. Team it with trainers and a add a pop of colour with our Pink Cardigan with short sleeves, for a lovely, casual look.
All About Dogs
Anybody who loves dogs will be in their element at All About Dogs Show. This is a show where you can bring your pooch and join in the fun. Based in Norfolk, you can have a go at an agility competition, lure racing and ‘best in show’. Maybe your dog will even win a rosette! It’s £12.50 for adults and £7.00 for children. We’ve heard it’s a pawesome day out.
Hereford River Canal
This is Hereford’s biggest free community event, for all the family right across the Bank Holiday. With 4 stages of live music, a street carnival, river floats and lots, lots more. Tuck into the fab food, fun performances and enjoy a cheeky drink. But what to wear?
We love these Jersey Stretch Trousers. As comfortable trousers for women, they have a fun leaf print and are a great length for sunny days. Kids Go Free at London Theatres
The theatre is a great experience for little ones and if they can go for free, even better. We love the Kids Week at London Theatres, and it’s not just a week, it runs from 17th July to 31st August. Any child under 17 goes free with a full paying adult and an additional two children can enjoy the fun for half price. What a deal. Check out their website for all the shows taking part.
Not ones to miss a trick, we have just the outfit for the theatre. Try our Green Polka Dot Skirt that’s so easy to wear and is great with trainers for any walking to the show. Kynren in the Land of The Prince Bishops
If you love live events Kynren could also be just the things for you. It’s the spectacular outdoor show that starts in the daylight and ends under the stars. With charging horses, a stunning lake with lit boats it tells an epic tale of English history, battles and life spanning 2000 years. In heart of the North East, Kynren features breath-taking pyrotechnics and lasts 90 minutes. The Bank Holiday show is on Saturday 26th August.
